2015 Ford Escape Seats?

I’ve got the opportunity to get a full set of leather seats from a 2015 Escape. The seat color is pretty close to the original parchment color. Does anyone have any idea how these seats might work in my ‘74 project Bronco? Any experience anyone can share would be appreciated! Thanks!

Interested to hear as well.
In 90% of the cases, the donor seats we pull out of other, more modern vehicles, end up being far too tall and you end up having to duck your head to look out the windshield.
Maybe the Escape is different. Or not…

Do you have ready access to the vehicle to measure?

I’m going to look at the seats tomorrow. I don’t have measurements for the height of my original seats, but I’ll have to measure these and I’m thinking about fabricating some brackets to mount the new seats to the original rails.

You may not need to. For many years Ford used the same old spacing and there were existing holes in seats that you could bolt the stock bronco tracks too. I installed 81 Mustang GT seats in my 71 bronco and, after tapping two existing, but in-threaded holes, they bolted right on.
Of course, they’re too high, as mentioned. But they’re so comfy and good looking. I decided to keep them and just lean over to look out the window. :) 🙄

That is a really good, (potentially time and money saving) question! I first went with front buckets and third row bench seats from a Ford Freestyle. Just as Paul said, I think that they are too tall, darnit! 1736508739905.jpeg Plan B is to try the middle row buckets and the third row bench seat from a Freestyle. I am currently attempting to install the middle row buckets into the bronco so that they slide and tilt forward. It has been using up all of my fabbing band width. I believe you may just have found a very good alternative! Good luck! Kudos for the original thinking!
