Guess I’m a gluten for punishment. I just ordered a grizzly locker for the rear of another DD.
My jeep is set up with Detroit's front and rear. If the wife didn't have plans to drive this Bronco all over the streets, I'd probably just simplify everything and go that route again.Guess I’m a gluten for punishment. I just ordered a grizzly locker for the rear of another DD.
Snow???? Winter??? When is the last time you visited SoCal?Well, everyone on this site since the '90's knows how I feel about Detroits in my snowy, icy, hilly part of the country. lol
Never own another one for the wheeling we like to do.
I live there, and I've driven in semi-local white stuff just often enough that I don't want a Detroit again either. We're not all in the Baywatch zone.Snow???? Winter??? When is the last time you visited SoCal?![]()
I've cruised thru places just N & W of S. CAL with white stuff on the groundSnow???? Winter??? When is the last time you visited SoCal?![]()
Yeah! So take that, jeep guy.I've cruised thru places just N & W of S. CAL with white stuff on the ground.
I also mentioned "in my snowy, icy..." so people reading might distinguish between the terrains.
Many of us do take their Broncos for wheeling trips more than 100 miles from home and might experience different terrains than what they have at home & for those that aren't familiar with the peculiarities of a Detroit - they might like to know how a Detroit behaves on a slippery surface, especially on a side hill.
Since a lot of people haven't driven a 1/2 dozen different lockers and know how they can & will behave so differently in a short wheel based rig in different conditions I was just trying to help those people understand pne or two pros & cons is all.
Hahaha... I'll keep the snow chains loaded up at all times.Yeah! So take that, jeep guy.
Lol
Chicks dig chains.......
"Two chicks at the same time, man."
oh, did I say that out loud?
I knew someone on here would catch that. Not chains, you needed $1M dollars for that
...but I'm broke and don't do sht!
