My first sighting of an EB was as a kid watching TV... The FBI staring Efrem Zimbalist Jr. The show had a run where they showed the FBI tooling around in an FBI Bronco. I thought that was the coolest truck I'd ever seen.:p(y)

I had been corvette guy from 2005 thru 2023. That’s when I got the Bronco itch. I bought 73 Bronco in January of 2024. I still love my 2 corvettes (64 & 72) but the Bronco gets 90% of the road time. Just so much fun to work on and drive.

I bought a 72 in 1987, sold it in 1989. I bought my 73 in 1995 and still have it. I bought and flipped four others over the years.

Ordered a new 73 Hot Ginger, but could not wait, found a Midnight Blue Metallic with the same options at another dealer and made the deal. Had 10 x 15 Armstrong Norseman tires on chrome wheels I purchased from Dick Cepek that I took to the dealer before driving away.

June 12th 1980 was the day I bought my first Bronco. ( I celebrate every year )
It's long gone, but I have never been without an Early Bronco since then.

In 1975 I was 15 years old and visiting a neighboring town with my buddy when a lifted, black half cab with nice wheels and tires came around the corner. It was love at first site. I got my 1970 U14 in 1981. I took my future wife on our first date in that rig. It is sitting in the shop right now waiting for me to have time to get it back on on the road.

August of 1997 for me. Saw a ‘61 Scout that I thought was really neat, but was scared of parts availability and decided to look for a Bronco. I had always been into fords anyway, my first car was a ’69 Mustang. Did a little research and figured ‘76-77 was the best years to buy and hunted till I found my ‘77 half cab. Don’t plan to sell, but I don’t seem to drive it enough. Did end up getting a ‘77 Scout Terra also. It always gets more comments than the Bronco, but it will probably get sold soon.

I bought my first 1974 Bronco is 2000. It was because I wanted an EB for my first car but my dad wouldn't allow (hind sight 20/20 he was right). I saved up the money and bought one from a man in service at Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC. I still have that one, although it's a different tub now but same frame.

My uncle purchased the bronco in May of 69. That August, my parents, me, my brother and younger sister did a road camping trip from New Jersey to the university of New Mexico via Colorado. We were taking my brother to college and we me my uncle at his place in Colorado. My brother and I fought for turn in the middle seat just to ride. Fast forward 5 years and I spent the sunner with him. The photo is me and him mushroom hunting in the mountains above aspen. The bronco was his daily driver until he died in 1995. I drove it from Basalt CO th Fredericksburg Virginia the next year.

Today is the fiftieth anniversary of the purchase of my 1972 Bronco. how long have you all been involved with Bronco's?
Bought my first Bronco in 1976 when I was 19 years old, a 1972. Had to sell it after two years:cry: Then life happened, didn't have the time nor the money to buy another one. after all these years wanting to purchase another one, it final happened. I retired this year and now have the time and money, just bought a 1969 bronco as a retirement present:D

Always liked Broncos, but in '89 my dad and I drove our '65 Mustang project which was new to us, up to the base of the sierras to visit friends. Well, it snowed bigtime overnight and we were in a 289 Mustang with performance tires..... On the way home, cold and wet, we stopped at a gas station after installing chains, and there was a '68 bronco for sale, rough, cut but no flares, and parts of a snowplow attached. For Sale for 2400.00 My dad said, "maybe we should have bought a Bronco...." I flew to Dallas TX during my jr year in college to get my first Baja and drive it home. I've owned around 60 Stroppe Broncos now, and I still have my mustang.

I got mine in 1983 (I was 13) and rebuilt the motor before I had my drivers license. Drove it as an only driver until 1996 and then occasionally until about 2004 when I pulled the dashboard to do the harness and other things. It basically sat outside from 2004 until 2020 when my wife encouraged me to get it back on the road.

I got my first one in 1981. It was a two tone gold and copper 72 with the full chrome grill. I let a buddy drive it home from a party one night because I was hitting on a girl. It ended up upside down in a ditch. I've been a Bronco addict ever since.

I live in Louisiana. Back in the late 70's a bunch of us would get together on the week ends and go mud riding. It would usually be 8 to 20 of us. Most of us had full size trucks and a couple Jeeps but one guy had a 66 half cab bronco with a 170 six cylinder. He would run circles around the rest of us in the mud. He could go places in 2 wheel drive where we barley made it in 4 wheel drive. That sold me on Broncos. I bought my first one a 69 in 1978. I have owned 35+ classics and a few full size over the years. I have 2 now. I am 75 years old and still have that passion for Broncos.
