It has been 4 years now since I started this undertaking. I have produced 200 pair of sliding side windows and sold 130 pair to date. The first 50 pair were indeed VERY DIFFICULT to install but were "happy" once in place. Nearly all of these were sold direct to end users. I see a comment from one member that his leak in the rain. That is the only report of leaking I have received for any of them or the more recent batches. If you have a set that leaks please reach out to me.

After the first 50 I made a change to the profile of the aluminum extrusion forming the perimeter frame. This change allowed for room for the rubber gasket flange to fold during installation and the windows after this change go in as easy as flat glass. Actually a bit easier because one person can install alone by opening both sliders and reaching through to hold pressure while "roping" in the gasket. Still easier with a buddy!

Since the first 50 pair I have been selling these ONLY through Toms Offroad, Bronco Design, and Northeast Classic Ford. They all have windows in stock ready to ship. If you have questions please contact me personally either here or by email at tomndine@outlook.com or call/text at 541-944-9089

These windows slide both directions, front to rear and rear to front with the back panel having a sliding screen as well. Both panels latch in closed position. Windows are available in Black frame with medium tint glass or silver frame with clear glass. Glass is DOT approved and marked accordingly.

I now have a similar slider in stock for rear of half cab. Slides from center out both directions with screens on both panels. Also available in black/tint or silver/clear. These are currently ONLY stocked by Corey at Bronco Design.

Thank you for your interest and support.

Thanks for the Kudos. Unfortunately Gold Stars don't reduce my inventory :) Do you currently have a set? Sliding windows that is :)

Watch for some upcoming Christmas promotions from the re-sellers on these windows.

I do have a set - they're a set of the original CR Laurence sliders from back in the day - sitting in the rafters for when I finally get a hardtop again....

Hmmmmm, sliding window for a half cab.... maybe I'll play with looking at adapting/mounting that slider waaay at the back of the half cab for more cab space and then seal up the half cab YET still have some ventilation with the sliding window... I'll PM ya for a pic of the size of the framework around the slider as I lengthened the sides of my half cab so nothing is stock sized...

Like TZ said, thank's for bringing these back to the market1

I can vouch for these. I bought mine through Northeast Classic Ford. I reused my Dennis Carpenter gaskets since they were still in good shape. I roped them in by myself. It was as easy as roping in the stock side glass.

I originally bought them because ever since I installed AC several years ago I've found that on hot days with everything closed up it seemed like no cool air was getting into the rear of the cab. I thought about creating a "leak" like modern cars have but wasn't happy with any of the ideas I and others came up with. Sliding side glass sounded like it might work and provide other benefits, so I took the chance.

These are well made. Fit and finish (mine are sliver with clear glass) are excellent. No rattles, latches are solid.

I can make them leak if I go to the car wash and train the high pressure nozzle directly on the front-rear overlap. A little big gets in. But if I do that to the vent windows, around the doors or lift gate, a whole lot more gets in than past the side windows. I have yet to drive in the rain but in practice I've found that very little water gets in even in the leakiest parts of my Bronco, so I'm not losing any sleep over it.

Unexpected bonus, when driving with the rear sliders cracked open an inch or two on either side, I can drive at freeway speed with the drivers door window rolled down and no more buffeting.
