Pulling out the cam position sensor,to replace for a distributor. I am finding I am having resistance pulling it out,is there some kind of keeper??

Just a regular distributor clamp and bolt.

Got them off,still resistance

Crank it over with clamp off the gear angle should give it a shove.

All the 5.0 engine users only,what is the right firing order,there is 2 different firing orders on the net,wanting to know before going out to garage!!

Late model 96-2001 should be the 1-3-7 sequence.
