Stone Crusher Steering options

Picked this up off a friend many years back, just getting around to looking to install.
After reading several threads, will be going TRU, to not stack both Heims on top of P side knuckle - have read that has or could cause potential loading issues.

Anyone know of any install options that do NOT require drilling the knuckles or Pitman arm, or is that the only way to install?
thanks in advance.

If they still have it, BC Broncos had a tapered stud/straight stud combo (my idea by the way!) that would fit into the tapered hole of the knuckle, and provide a male stud for the spherical rod end.
Not sure (don't remember) if they offered them for just TRO, or TRU, or both.
Hopefully they still have them. Otherwise, either find someone making a similar product, or drill baby drill!

I did check BC Broncos, as i recall they did have a solution for this but it does not look like they carry it anymore.
I did find this from Duff's.
https://dufftuff.com/catalog/tro-no-drill-tie-rod-hardware-kit/
Really only set-up to support (1) Heim, but thinking if I just use a longer bolt, this could work for a (2) Heim set-up on the passenger side. tie rod below, drag link above. It does reduce the bolt dia size though.
anyone see any issue with this?
Can this be used for the pitman arm as well? I am not sure if that is the same taper as the knuckles.

I suggested them to Chuck as well.

OP: Buy some Seals-it washers to go with those SRE's. They'll help keep road grime out of them.

You might have been first then. It was only a few months after I suggested it to him at the Offroad Expo, that they were available. Maybe he already had it started from your suggestion.
Track bars with upper Heims.
Tapered studs for Heims.
One other thing along that same line that I can’t remember

Other than you have this one, any reason to not go with the 1ton TRE or F-150 TRE solutions?

No specific reason, other then I already have it, bought it long time back. Looking for the easy button here, which looks to be semi obtainable.

I installed my stone crusher 15 or so years ago. I drilled mine and hav tried both the over and under configuration. No problems with either and I drive to and from trails For camping fishing and hunting. Don’t be afraid to drill in less you want to return to stock at a later point.

Rethinking this. Current thought has me steering away (pun intended) from heim joints, TY @jamesroney . Thinking WH Cydesdale, other then price, any reason to not go this route? About as plug n play as it gets it seems.
