    Yet another cam recommendation

Yes, running a 351w. Ran the Explorer cam for a bit (my 351w came out of a 1996 E350 which had the Explorer cam stock). It ran great....LONG story short, I had a cracked head that took me and the machine shop months to figure out (long thread on it). I ditched the E7 heads and went GT40P and...

Oil Blow-By Diagnostics/Engine Swap or Rebuild

Oil pan gasket, rear intake manifold gasket i.e. rear china wall, valve cover gaskets, distributor gasket and rear main would be the first place to look. Clean it up the best you can then go to local parts store and get the dye to add to the oil. Run the engine then use black light to find the...

    Power steering to frame torque

I knocked mine out years ago and made some 1/4 wall DOM sleeves to replace the stock angle. Welded place on both sides of the frame and welded up 2 frame cracks. I highly recommend inspecting the frame for cracks. BC used to sell a kit....not sure if they still do. Tim

    33s & AOD transmission-Any Lift advice

No expert on the AOD but from my understanding, you will need 4.88 minimum with the 33's. The AOD has a deep OD......lugging it will kill it...... Hoping others will chime in. Tim

    Leaking 9"

If it were mine.....I would jack it up so the oil is in the opposite tube, wire wheel the heck out of it to get the JBW off. Then propane torch the crack/seam to wick the oil out of the crack. Then degrease it and yes I know the dangers, spray break clean into the cracks. Once dry, I would...

    33s & AOD transmission-Any Lift advice

Each Bronco is different as they all age differently. That said.... I run 33's and an M5ODR2 5 speed. I have 2 1/2 SL and 1 inch BL. Cut rear fenders. No issues at all doing 70 (351W and gears make that easy to do) and zip around town with no feeling of high center of gravity. I tend to...

Best intake for a 4 barrel carbed daily driver 302 Bronco

Assuming allot.....any dual plane that fits under the hood. There are combos that will fit under the stock hood but I can't speak to them as I've not done it. More to the point, your ask of 70-80mph on the highway is going to be more a product of proper gearing than a 4bbl. Stock 2bbl and...

    Best manufacturer of replacement panels?

Which panels? yes it makes a difference. I've put on rockers and front fenders. Rockers form 2 different vendors, both needed trimming. Fenders from DC and both needed 8 hours of work each to fit perfectly with original grill. Front fenders are 3 or maybe 4 separate parts welded together. I...

100% amateur here........ Chart for R134a pressures https://rechargeac.com/how-to/ac-system-pressure-chart/ I've rebuild one once. Assuming R134a, get the right oil for the system ( Polyolester oil (POE oil) as I recall). I used A/C PRO PY-7 R-134a ESTER 100 Refrigerant Oil with ICE. How...
