    Displeased with rebuild on NP435

Did you put in a new clutch assembly?

    Displeased with rebuild on NP435

That's ok. They need to see what is happening under power. It will help them and they might have an idea. Who knows, they may even pull it for you.

    Displeased with rebuild on NP435

Since you can't get 3rd, take it to the shop that did the work and show them. It will be going back anyway.

    York 210 onboard air

Not too mention hitting a rock, stump etc with a air filled bumper, rock slider. Anyone that has seen first hand PVC pipe explode under pressure and the carnage understands its danger. At one time I worked for a outfit that that had a 2" line coming off the compressor. It would explode and the...

    York 210 onboard air

From another source a discussion about mounting aftermarket compressor came up. The ones mounted under the hood seemed to have a much higher failure rate. Apparently the composite rings would fail do to the under hood temps. This is not something I have verified but something I have...

For some reason I can't post the link. Here is the ad. Spokane Craig's list. It's located in Hayden Idaho.

AN Hose and AN fittings soon to be TIG'd onto valve covers... need some techy input

Yes on the 4" in the picture. Hangs down about an inch. I didn't have a straight edge with me to be sure. I did use a tape measure. Yes on the carb diameter. Qjets in all. I had a link for a dual snorkel saved for you and lost it. Hopefully I can find it. It was I believe $200. Not a...

    Best intake/HEI/Carb for crate motor

In all seriousness 2100 series carb and dura spark. The stock parts are pretty good.

what if any suspension parts can I keep when dropping from 3.5" to 2.5"?

Do you already have a rake front to back or is it level? Depending on what lift you have including weight you carry. Pulling a leaf or 2 in the rear might get you to the desired height? How many leafs do you have, a 11 leaf pack compared to say a 5 are not the same in results.

    The Ballad of Ol' Rusty

The plus side of oil leaks is the reduction of frame rust. As mentioned a great father son project. I like your plan of doing what needs to be done to keep it the road. You need to give us more details on the Bronco. Also you can't have that many in the back ground and expect us to ignore...

NY Long Island Budget Respray Tips?

You probably should have put this in the tech section, you would get more traffic equaling more advice. Are you looking at a 40' type of job or a 2' job. Big difference in what it will take. I was always surprised to see in person trail rigs I had seen in magazines. They always looked rough...

AN Hose and AN fittings soon to be TIG'd onto valve covers... need some techy input

This is my 77. You may not be able to see the hoses going to the snorkel since I pulled them to measure. The top is the same as the 86 which allows for a 5" filter that you probably don't have room for. Apparently I still don't how to separate pictures and text. My apologies. The snorkel...

AN Hose and AN fittings soon to be TIG'd onto valve covers... need some techy input

I need to get you the pictures of the dual snorkel on my 77 in the next day or so. It's very similar to the Corvette one posted. I know for sure mine didn't come from a Corvette. There is no reason why with a little fab work you couldn't combine a 2nd snorkel on any housing. I had already had...

AN Hose and AN fittings soon to be TIG'd onto valve covers... need some techy input

I have a double snorkel on one of my square bodies like post 64. I can't recall what it came from exactly since it's been over 25 years. I do recall it came from a gm car, I'm thinking something with a 455 or 472??? Hopefully I will get a chance tomorrow and get some pictures of the...
