Found a great way to get tree sap off.

I believe it is ammonia in most types Also can try the Gojo hand cleaner, (not the pumice type) with lanolin, works on some of the pine saps up here in the north

Car (Bronco) bags...do they keep mice out?

This, same thing happened to me, I didn't want a cat, the wife wanted a cat, so we compromised and got a cat. I didn't want the cat in the house or on the bed, but the wife wanted the cat in the house and on the bed, so we compromised and he is in the house and on the bed. All seriousness...

    accident GUYS

I didn't have a ball joint press, so I tried heating up a knuckle on a F250 to break the ball joint loose. The grease in the ball joint warmed up and expanded and shot the ball across the shop putting a sizable dent in a steel shelf. Never do that again...

Engine Paint - 60s ford Light Blue

I don't THINK he meant in a paint quality sense as a dig against you, maybe more about colors, as in "Ford Gray" used on old 9N tractors is not the same "Ford Gray" on engines I think implement paint would be fine on an engine, heck on any tractor they use the same paint on the engine, chassis...

Revell build thread, post your status too

Question for you model gurus: In the midst of building this Bronco model, I inevitably dug out a whole slew of old models started by me, or my dad, or my uncle when we were all kids (uncle built a lot in the ready/alert shack during the Cold War) Is there anything safe enough to strip paint...

    Welder Pet Peeve- 210MP

If there was ever a "first world problem" this is it. Maybe its just the new inverter style welders, but as soon as I power my Lincoln 210MP up, it kills my shop radio. Not like trips a breaker or anything, the radio speakers just stop putting out music or commercials. My welder is on a bench...

    painting bronco script valve covers

Sanding works, or spray them, and while its still wet wipe off the script/ fins with a rag soaked (BUT NOT DRIPPING) with lacquer thinner, might take a few tries to get it right but it usually works well Even follow up with q-tips before the paint dries for the hard to reach areas
