engine dies

myine was doing ot and it took it about 6 months to stop. Thats when it finally wouldn't start again. it was the pickup coil in the duraspark distributor. dropped in a MSD and she purrrs now. Not once has it died in 3 months.

trouble shooting fuel gauge outage

any idea what the ohms readings are for the gauge in case I have to buy an aftermarket guage? will a standerd autometter fuel gauge for a ford work?
