76 - swapping 4r70w and want to keep column shift. So, I’m looking for a new tilt column that will work. Figure I need the Lokar auto shift linkage to dial in the indicator, but there has to be a new tilt column that will be close with minimal tweaking. Suggestions ? Thanks

So, I just purchased WH early style linkage Y to T Swap (Item 2399) and haven't installed yet. What other parts are you suggesting as "just in case" if its a problem. Drop pitman arm? I am debating going to the 1.5" SL by WH. Have 1" BL installed and newer TBP stock suspension. It's a 76.

Sounds like a rebuild is what you want. That being said, I would contact Sandmann on here and get the Explorer front dress and do the conversion.

I lifted mine with a winch mounted in the attic with the cable running through a hole in the ceiling. The top then sits on (2) 2x6s with eyebolts ratchet strapped to eyebolts in the ceiling.
