    Carb help desperation....need suggestions

I did take out the distributor. I tried to get the motor to TDC after having this issue. Due to the fan I have trouble getting a ratchet in there to turn the motor...so I bumped the starter until it got about there. Still doesn't seem right though. I didn't put any gasket sealer on the...

    Carb help desperation....need suggestions

Let me begin by letting everyone know that I know very little about carbs... My setup: Stock 289, MSD Ignition, Edelbrock Intake Manifold, Edelbrock 650CFM carb with electronic choke. So last week I decide to replace my stock manifold and carb with the edelbrock setup... I install it. Start...

    I know....another Exhaust thread...anyone done 2 into 2?

I'm by no means any type of air expert....but I don't see why exhaust going out the side would let any less CM in then out the back. Seems like just as easy of a chance of seeping in the cabin...especially since I have the soft top. But who knows...perhaps. My big issue is what muffler to...

    I know....another Exhaust thread...anyone done 2 into 2?

This is why I'm confused. I see a lot of setups running straight back. My 68 I had was straight back..I never noticed any gas fumes in the car...but I only drove it for a total of 5 minutes, so doesn't count for much.

I see guys doing it all the time that aren't half cab. How are they getting away with it? Or do they just love the smell of burnt gas? lol

Crawdad, thanks for the input. That link to Heus didn't work though. My email is Accordngs AT aol DOT com. I also have side pipes at the moment. I definitely will be going straight out the back on the new setup though. That should help some with the sound...but I also like the look better...

Looks nice. I am also cruising at similar RPM's so I am thinking I should probably go something quieter also. Magnaflow perhaps?

    I know....another Exhaust thread...anyone done 2 into 2?

So does that setup still have a tiny bit of aggressiveness to it? I want quiet, but I don't want it to sound like a stock truck either. My buddy had a tahoe with a flowmaster 50 series on there...and it had a nice low rumble that wasn't overwhelming. (I know...different car doesn't tell me...

    I know....another Exhaust thread...anyone done 2 into 2?

I did a whole bunch of searching on here and found a whole bunch of exhaust threads! Lots of debating of 2 into 1 vs. Dual setup....but I didn't see anyone talk about doing a 2 inlet - 2 outlet setup...

SOLD 1968 Bronco - 302, EFI Conversion started

I know I could. I could probably get closer to double my price if I part it out. I already added up the big ticket items and I could get likely over $2000 without adding in the shell/frame/axles etc. But I would love to see this thing go to someone who is going to finish what I've started. 1...

SOLD 1968 Bronco - 302, EFI Conversion started

PM's returned. And thanks guys. I've had a lot of interest in it and don't think it will stay on the market very long. I also wanted to add a little more detail that came up after talking to a few guys on the phone.... RUST: The bronco does have some surface rust, but I don't see cancer. It...

SOLD 1968 Bronco - 302, EFI Conversion started

I also put this on craigslist but wanted the guys here to have a chance... I have decided to sell my Early Bronco. This thing is in mid-project form. Meaning....you should only consider buying this car if you are ready to put some hours of wrenching in. You won't be driving it on the streets...
