After more hours of research , looking at diagrams, TSB's and manuals. It appears to me that the harness is from a 97, but for a 4.0L. the pins in the connector {pin 4-12} are missing and still sealed with plastic ; this matches a 97 4.0L EEC connector. So I guess now I have to go...

Arrrgh No Wire on Pin 30 I find out why I cant find the OCTadj shorting bar. It simply has no wire coming from pin 30, which is the wire that connects to one side of the shorting bar. I think I will try to clean up the wiring and reuse one of the Terminated wires that had been previously cut...

I am worried about a few of those connections, I hope to get it cleaned up :)

Thanks for the help, EFI_Guy {Garry} examined the pics and he and I have determined it just isn't there. however he did give me an easy remedy (jumper pin 30 to pin 91 on the PCM) so I will do this today and hopefully rid myself of that code. I still have some issue with the o2 heater circuits...

I looked pretty hard and I just don't see it or even a place where it might have been cut.

Napa has one that is nice. It is around $70.00 , that is what the shop used to correct their previous blunder.

I have experienced a poor quality Flex Plate recently, the main reason the cheaper ones are a problem are because they use a lesser grade metal and as a result it is lighter, so the 50oz weight is huge and it will hit the motor plate. The Flex plate was one of the only pieces I did not purchase...

I saw my Bronco today, it was supposed to be coming home from the transmission guy, but once he fired it up there was a banging and he said the weight on the flex plate is hitting the motor plate yada yada. So anyway, maybe next week.
