Horn quit, 12V to ground now Update - Solved it!

The mounts are clean and well grounded. I can jump across the relay connector and sound the horn. Here is a pic of the horn button, the center blade is connected to the wire coming off the horn "pad" that came with the wheel. The other blade is grounded to the spacer. Is that correct?

Horn quit, 12V to ground now Update - Solved it!

The horn did work when I hooked everything up. The wiring is stock and I just put in a used column, I check all the wiring on the column and it was in great shape. The relay was clicking and the horn blew until it just quit and then I found that there was 12v on the ground side of the relay. Now...

Got it back together and almost everything works

Those are both projects but there are some pictures in my cardomain page. The Mustang was a field car left out to pasture for 17 years. The Impala was a barn car tucked away back in '72, major project but it was free!:D

Got it back together and almost everything works

I started a few projects about 3 months ago mainly to install power steering. My Bronco originally had power steering but it got robbed somewhere during its life. I figured while it was down for the power steering install, I would pull the tranny and t-case for a rebuild. My friend did the...

Horn quit, 12V to ground now Update - Solved it!

I put a new relay in and had my horn working and when I drove it yesterday, the horn quit. I checked the connection at the steering wheel and instead of continuity to ground, I had 12 volts. And when I checked the relay, I was getting 12 volts on the ground side. Can the relay go that quickly...

    Turn signal connector

Does anyone make the front turn signal pigtail? On the wiring harness side that is. My left run signal has a broken connector inside the weathertight connection and I can't find one to splice in. I did find one close at pullapart but it was a three wire connector. Any suggestions?

Fuel line and power steering cooler ??s

I just added a main tank on my 75. Yes, I have been running on the aux tank but I dont drive it any real distances. The nylon fuel lines are still in place running up to the selector valve, just a little short. Does anyone still use the nylon fuel lines or just bend up some hard lines? If the...
