Nothing for 2 weeks, a buddy of mine has it to look over somethings, and rebuild carb. While he is fighting the rain to do his hay. I could have learned how to rebuild the carb myself by now.

Replaced clutch and accelerator rod boots, cleaned about a pound of leaves and dirt out of each air intake. Searching the brake warning light gremlin..... looks like it's been unconnected for years.

I put new Rancho 9000's on the front of my truck and to my surprise (I thought they would be white!) they match my cage, tube doors and bumpers exactly! Now I look like the poser I am!

The only bummer is that now to complete the full poser package I have to purchase a pair for the rear! ;D

Over the weekend...

1. Drove 100 miles one way to see family in OKC
2. Discovered pin-holes in trans pan; had the pan brazed at local muffler guru
3. Installed bikini top
4. Installed grill trim; mocked up side trim and cleaned (awaiting install)
5. Installed wiper-motor cover and sun-visors
6. Installed new front bumper (pre-runner style)
7. Attended monthly Cars & Coffee event (Only Bronco there; some cool FJ40s there too)
8. Discovered leak of motor oil from valve cover; turns out the PO did not install a gasket under the filler cap
9. Topped off radiator coolant
10. Drove 100 miles back to Tulsa

*Put about 300 miles over the entire weekend. Great time, but at 9-10 mpg... ugh

Finally got to work on the bronco. Test fit my EFI tank and will need to do some grinding off some remnants of an old receiver hitch that was welded to the frame. Will move some wiring as well to help with clearance. Put the skid plate on to see how high I can mount the tank. Fun!

Got the passenger side seat out, and got 2 sets of covers and old foam off the frames. Primed and painted the seat frames. Now I have to see if I have enough smarts to put new covers on. I'm not feeling to good about it, but am going to give it a try.

Drove it!!! Put about 20 miles on it after the tranny and t-case rebuild and power steering install. It was down for almost three months, way too long.
