Cool story. I mean, you lived to tell about it, so it is a cool story. Not that it happened, but that we get to hear it from YOU. Thanks

I need pictures of the liftgate latch striker plates

Thanks Savage. Well since we are discussing it, any idea why the top plate has those two cuts in it at the top? one is a notch and the other is an angle. Logical reason?

I need pictures of the liftgate latch striker plates

I am going to look into making some SS ones. No reason not to have them.

I need pictures of the liftgate latch striker plates

Thanks Paul, That does make sense. But why not make both of them stainless steel? Only one? It looks odd to me. Do you know if they were painted or plated?

What are these rain guards called?

Ok, so, kind of a stupid question. Maybe. I dunno. Are they desired as much for "cool" retro-look factor as much as "utility" factor? Just wondering what you guys thought. I like them for both reasons. But I can't see spending more than 35 bucks for a set. I don't think they are 150 bucks cool.

I need pictures of the liftgate latch striker plates

well, dang. Yours look just like mine did under the rattle can paint they had on. Any chance you might unscrew one and look at the back side? I can not figure out two things. 1. Why is it a 2 piece assembly? Why not make it out of one piece of stainless? 2. Are yours plated with that...

What are these rain guards called?

If they are that desired, I know a guy that is awesome at sheetmetal custom stuffs. I remember selling them when I was in high school, working part time at Kragen Auto Parts in Anaheim.

    Goodyear MT/R vs BFG KM2

I was low on funds and a buddy loaned me his rims and tires for a while. They were KM2s. I liked them. So I bought some when I got the funds. I had one blow out sitting in the driveway. I don't blame the tire, this is Yuma and the sun is horribly damaging. Discount tire swapped it out, no...

Some Early Bronco Pioneers for you

If you go look at their generation when they were young, they wore their pants that high. Difference being that they were thin back then and it was the style. So they stayed with the old style, got fat and now look ridiculous. Go look at Desi Arnaz and guys back in the day. Women wear their...

I need pictures of the liftgate latch striker plates

I have the stainless steel part and the metal part that goes over it. I can not figure out if they were plated or painted. Mine were painted and messed up. I sandblasted them (not the stainless) to bare metal. Here are pics of what I have. Can you show me yours or good pics of some...

    Third times a charm v3.0

Ok, I have a question. I honestly do not want to offend you or anyone else here. I am loving your build. Don't get me wrong. The build is awesome. But, why didn't you just build a tube buggy and hang some aftermarket sheetmetal Bronco fenders on it? Just about everything Bronco is gone on this...

How did you come to own your Bronco

I think I have told my story before. I have always hated fords. I always had chevy. Now I know why. I am always working on this ford. It is a labor of love. Cindy and Albert owned the Bronco, they were getting divorced. Albert tore apart the Bronco into a gazillion pieces so Cindy could not...

What have you done to your Bronco today?

I installed the rear liftgate and realized my skill improved over time and now my liftgate doesn't match my hardtop. The texture is different. I don't even care, it has a liftgate! Nightwork. It is only 110F during the day.
