First Snow on the New Bronco! Update: Now Mud!

The biggest snowfall yet this year is happening! 12 inches so far and expected to continue snowing another 24 hours or more. Currently snowing at a rate of about 2 inches per hour! And I thought Spring was about here!

    wheel covers or hubcaps?

If you’re doing a factory correct restoration to show the Bronco then full 67-77 hub caps is the way to go. Not sure what your distinction is between “full wheel covers” and “hub caps” is? By hub caps are you referring to dog dish style hub caps? If so, Broncos never came with them. You should...

    selling

Not to be a smart ass, but if you don’t drive either one very much you might consider selling both. When you do drive one where do you go? If it’s all street cruises I think I’d keep the GTO. If you’re near some easy trails or the beach, the Bronco might be used more. If you sell them both...

    A Q for no good R

I prefer stock. Been running stock on my trail rig for 20 plus years without a failure. I did replace the plastic knobs with billet ones from BC Broncos.

Tire question- letters out or not?

Factory tires did not come with white letters. Factory correct would probably be white wall out on a 77. If you're looking for the "rolled off the assembly line" look go with white walls or black walls, not letters. If you've already bought white letter tires mount them in. That said (!) I...

    Rear seat alternatives

I have plastic storage/tool box that I cut down to be the same height as the rear bench. It bolts to the same holes as the rear seat and the seat belts can stay bolted in. When wheeling I have a pad I can put on the box and use it as a seat in a pinch. When I know I'll have rear passengers...

    The Red "R" . . . and Some Other Small Mods . . . Power Steps!!

Overall Ford did a fantastic job with the new Bronco. If I have any criticism, it is that Ford went way overboard with complicating the models and options. Basically all the features are there in the software but Ford chose to turn them on or off according to the model! Kind of a cool idea...

    The Red "R" . . . and Some Other Small Mods . . . Power Steps!!

I ws able to hook up with member @SevenT for him to do some Forscan programming for me. The double honk is gone! I now have Sport Mode, and he disabled Stop-Start. He was not sure how long the Stop-Start would remain disabled on a 2022, but so far it has stayed disabled on a number of...

    1974 ford bronco

It's pretty rare for any 50 yo vehicle to still be owned by the original purchaser. 146,000 miles is not particularly "low mileage" but indicates you have used and enjoyed it over the years. Please post some pics and I'm sure you have a few good stories to tell about you and your Bronco...

    Painting old dash?

If it is an original white dash then the proper color is Parchment, not Wimbledon White. But WW is pretty close and not many people will know the difference!

    The Red "R" . . . and Some Other Small Mods . . . Power Steps!!

Just the plastic wash-out floor but I've added Weathertech rubber mats. We live on a dirt road which is either dusty, snowy or muddy! Carpet does not work well here!

    The Red "R" . . . and Some Other Small Mods . . . Power Steps!!

Finally got around to installing the Hot Head Headliner . . . My BadSquatch did not come with any headliner - just the bare fiberglass of the top. One slight disappointment is the noise on the highway. Our local interstate has a 75 mph speed limit which translates to 80-85 to keep up with...

    New Bronco Colors

A neighbor just bought a used 2022 Sport in "Bronze Smoke". Kind of a metallic brown gold with some orange highlights. Very nice color but it looks like Ford discontinued it already. It would make a great retro look with some Ranger inspired graphics. It would be a more modern version of...
