This is going to be a Sunday go to Meetin Bronco.
Carpet, Insulation on the doors, firewall, floor, bulkhead, ceiling, etc. New vintage heat/AC, the works.
I am building a real comfy, pansy, on road, daily driver.
After digging through the archives it seems to be the consensus that half cabs did not come from the factory with a headliner. I am redoing the interior in my latest project and am planning on putting one in.
Options:
1) Butcher one in myself....Not excited about this idea.
2) Auto...
I talked with Jason at BC today about getting the Vintage unit. I am pretty sure that it does it all. It has an evaporator and heater coil. You replace the whole box under the dash.
Go to http://www.transportreviews.com/. They collect feed back from customers. Pick one or two and call them. I settled on Auto Zipper from CA to Ut. Good experience and reasonably priced.
The wheels look like Torq Thrust D's, I am putting a set on my 65 Malibu SS, but I never thought about them on a Bronco. Any one with pics with the wheels and body together? (sorry for the semi hijack)
Not sure how much of your dash you are going to replace. I cut out all but enough to overlay the old frame. If you do this your might consider going to 22 or 24 ga. metal. It is a whole lot easier to work with. Before you order the 16 ga. go look at it. It is a lot heavier than most people...
Great website that gathers feedback from customers http://www.transportreviews.com
After talking to several companies and comparing prices and schedules
I chose Autozipper to move my Half Cab from Ca. to Ut.
Great price and good service.

At one time I had Duffs 3.5" and then switched to Cage coils with long arms. The Cage setup was noticeably softer than the Duffs. I was attributing the body roll mostly to the coils, but maybe the long arms were a part of it. The the Duffs were a lot older.
Does anyone know if the current...
Picked up a 68 half cab to be my DD.
It has a 5.5 skyjacker lift that just has got to go.
10 miles to work, chase construction site jobs, errands, and then home every day. 80% surface roads and 20% freeway.
I have had 4 different suspensions in my crawler, but then I was looking for flex.
I...
I think that accelerated ball joint wear is a whole lot more troublesome in theory than in actual practice.
Most people who refuse to use spacers for wear/ safety reasons have never run them.
I have run spacers for years both on and off road and with minimal wear issues.
I have often lusted for a half cab, mainly for the looks.
With a 2.5" lift running on 33's there is just not a better looking rig.
(Well, my buddy let me drive his Viper today...that has to be a close second)
, but I digress.
I have about bought one several times but, I am more than a little...
