Did you separate the adapter from the Transfercase t, the stub shaft comes out of adapter housing from that side , be mindful there are13 roller bearings that may or may not stay in place hat between the stub shaft and tc input shaft no biggie but be aware

You can still get a motorcraft relay from ford or other suppliers that sell them,, the relay in pic the mounting bracket has part #D2AF-11450-AA , thought was interesting. I also used Chad's automotive arts ,motocryl [single stage] but in compitition orange.. as well as used SP{ euro clear without any issues then cut and buffed the clear .. some people would ask why? but i like the results .....about 2 gal for inside and out engine compartment complete color change..
