    I replaced the bottom of the door seals with hollow weather stripping. Problem solved. Doesn't look great but the doors close like they should. No slamming.

    Not sure what the status of your truck is but I'd keep the engine. It's worth $250 for someone else but worth $1000's in value to the right guy if you sell the truck.

    Engine basically done ready to go back in Engine rebuilt and cleaned. All original paint Tranny cooler cleaned only and put back in. Had been removed by the previous owner.
