New Bronco - press conf from Ford

The engine sounds like crap, the 2.7 in my wife's Edge sport sounds much cooler.;D

Rear wheels don't move but draveshaft does - uh oh

It's going to be a broken pinion shaft or a busted locker, probably the locker I'd Just pull it apart.

77 Lower Steering Shaft Length (Remove/Stretch)

It will slide in and out but like was said above, it's probably just seized up. I would take the whole thing out and clamp one end in a vice, soak it with some PB blaster and carefully hammer it off. Then clean and lube the shafts and put it back together.

Why would my left turn signal dash stay on.

1973 Bronco with 495 Original Miles

Wow, that thing is amazing. My first Bronco was a 73 Ranger that I bought back in 1980 and it wasn't in that good of shape. ;D

Have you noticed a reduction in Classic Bronco posts?

I think it's a combination of it being a busy time of year for everyone and Facebook, I certainly don't think anyone has lost interest in Broncos. It seems like they get more popular every day.

    Starter upgrade

Yes it should bolt right up and with a few wiring changes will be a much better starter than the original.

    Simple opinion

Nice Bronco, the wires look fine to me as long as they work.

    Power Steering Rebuild/Replace/Reseal/Full Kit

I would just replace the seals first, it's easy and you can do it with it still in the truck.

    Bumps cause lane changes

The best way to find out what is loose is to leave it on its tires and have a friend turn the wheel back and forth while you look under the front. Look at every part including the steering box to frame bolts, they do come loose.

    Original C bushings

I remember back in 1980 how much trouble it was trying to replace the bushing on my 73, the factory bushing was gone and it had death wobble really bad. The only replacement I could find was the factory rubber one from Ford. I struggled with that thing all afternoon but finally got the new one...

    Battery Selection

I'm using the blue top optima with the extra bolt on terminals on top. I use the regular posts for the starter and the bolt on terminals for the accessories including the winch. It really cleaned up the wiring a lot.

    Rear drum brakes

If the drum is all the way up against the end of the axle and still outside the backing plate lip then those are the wrong drums.

New Fuel Venting - Carb Adjustment?

The factory air filter housing will fit an aftermarket 4bbl carb/intake no problem but you can buy add on fittings for the base plate of the aftermarket air cleaner also. You would just drill another hole and bolt the second fitting on the base plate.
