Those were a good value, high performing light. Unfortunately they were made in China and some other companies found these and started mass producing them under their own brand name. Production increased and quality decreased (they changed the internals presumably to reduce cost). The result...

x2. Do a quick tranny service and see if that helps. If not, a rebuild shouldnt set you back too far. It looks solid otherwise. I went through some issues with a lying dealership too and ended up eating a few thousand in repairs.

Those lights are a decent reflector based LED. They are made in China and the same generic option that gets rebranded for companies like Quadratec and Anzo (just a different logo on the center bar).
