Has anyone removed the tailgate supports and used the tailgate cables instead (like on the newer trucks). these things rattle all over. if you have done this swap let me know which ones you used and what you did about the top bracket that bolts in. thanks

aod do a search for aod. i did it and its preatty easy. what you have to do is cut the flanges so each will move independantly. the twin stick i bought had to be modified a bit i had to cut it and weld a longer peoce on it. however it works great

For Smitty mounting of the bumper: it slips over the frame and a bolt goes thru the top and one on the bottom

I just installed my fiberglass hood. where do the pins get mounted. i thought about putting them where the stock adjustable ones were whit the pad on them were but that looks pretty close to the edge pics would be great!!

shift linkage i just put an aod behind my 302. i bought the b&m shifter from summit i also got the lockar tv cable to handle the gear shifting.

i bought a fuel selinoid that changes the tank it draws from when you flip a toggle swithch (instead of the brass feul valve) im trying tofigure out how to wire ti. it has only one post in it for the power. when no power is going to it it defaults tothe main tank when it gets power the valve...
