Fast and friendly. Only time things took a week was on a gas tank straight from the manuf. and they told me that up front.

Ditto ditto. Loosen screws and push up from the rear prior to retightening and hold in that position while you do. It was a tight fit on mine too.

I'm thinking I did what many of us did. Paid as much as I could for the best I could find at the time and then started spending even more (and still would not give it up)!

It's the one on the frame not the drag link. Still thinking replacement if I can. If all else fails, I'll give the weld a job a try and fab one if I have to.....

Ok here we go fist posted question after a bunch of reading and finally owning my own. Does anyone know where to find a steering damper bracket? So far I've struck out at Jeff's. Mine has a crack and welding in that corner does not seem like it will last.
