Cold Duck Dual Transfer case help

Thanks for all the replies. I found a local guy who has worked on a few of these. We will see how it goes. I also did get a response from Wild horses, but they pretty much just said that the internals of these things wear out and that is why they dont make them anymore. I also got an offer...

    Wheelin' in Hollister, anytime soon?

I live in Hollister and am usually up for a run there any time. That said, my cold duck dual transfer case has been acting up and I am not sure my ride will be ready. I have 4 friends here in town that I usually go with. They all have Scouts. You would not believe the crap I have taken with...

Cold Duck Dual Transfer case help

I think I understand your question now. The left side is fine. It is a straight up and down pattern, but no issue with that side. It is the right side that is causing the issues and popping out. I will change my title as well and see what people have to say. Any local shops around here that...

    Lost Reverse???

Went to get some lunch today and when finished tried to back out of my parking spot and reverse would not engage. I have a 3 speed auto tranny. When in reverse it just acts like nuetral. I had to push the Bronco out of the spot and fortunately the forward gears work fine. It has plenty of...

What do all these numbers and letters mean?

Thanks for the replies. Those were the two that I had guessed at. The others have me baffled. Any other thoughts? Mark

What do all these numbers and letters mean?

I was going through a bunch of stuff that I got from the PO and found two metal tags (kind of like dog tags). They have some letters and numbers punched in them. I can tell what some of them are but do not know what they all mean. I am sure they are transmission and engine related, but any...

Removed the Hard Top for the first time today

Found these that look like they are exactly what I need. Has anyone used these and how do they mount? http://broncograveyard.com/products/cat/13/245/15530/ Thanks, Mark

Removed the Hard Top for the first time today

Do you use the soft top year round in Utah? I went to school in Provo and it was plenty cold in the winter. I guess if it works for you there, I should not have any problem in California with a soft top only.... Guess I need to find a good soft top... Any other suggestions out there?

Removed the Hard Top for the first time today

I had a couple of friends over today and the weather was nice so I decided to take the hard top off for the first time. Now I have a question. What should I put over the section on each side of the rear of the bronco where the hard top used to sit. I am not a fan of the row of mounting holes...

    Hollister Today!

Great Pictures! It was good meeting some of you in person and seeing your EB's. My friend in the Scout was a little anxious to hit the trails so sorry for ditching out. We did have a blast that day and the view from up top above the fog was pretty cool. Then I got a flat, so that sucked...

Is there an intrest for a Bronco Specific Club in the Bay Area

So, do we have a final count on how many people/EB's will be there? I will be there and am really looking forward to this. I am such a newbie that my Bronco is the only one I have ever been able to look at in detail so I am interested in seeing what any of you have done with yours. I will...

Is there an intrest for a Bronco Specific Club in the Bay Area

Seeing as how I live in Hollister, count me in for Saturday. Still a novice to all of this, but looking forward to seeing a few other EB's and learning a thing or two. I will have my three little (ages 7,4,1) boys with me so it should be fun. Mark

    How much do EBs weigh?

Alright, that would make much more sense. I think that cargo limit is 800lbs, therefore, it would weigh around 3200lbs. Seems better. Thanks, Mark

    How much do EBs weigh?

Checked in the RV manual and it says GVW for towing is 5,000lbs. That will be fine for the boat, but I think the Bronco will be over 6k. Not sure why the towing is that low. It has plenty of power 8.1 Chevy. Guess I should have bought the diesel... I think those were rated to tow 10klbs...
