    Coil ohms

Happy Friday everybody! I have a '77 with stock Duraspark ignition. I have been chasing some gremlins and it is now down to the distributor, regulator and/or the coil (I think). My symptom is very similar to a Bronco I helped build for a buddy of mine....... It runs and starts great, but...

GA Beautiful '67 full stock restoration

Hey folks, I wanted to draw attention to my buddy's fully restored 1967 on Bringatrailer.com this week (auction ends Sunday at 4:15pm EST). It is meticulous, a body-off restoration and the only things not put back as stock were upgrades (disc brakes, power steering, 4 speed, radio, wiring...

Removed leafs to level rear, now rides too soft

I added an 11-pack set of leafs from Tom's to my '77 and it sat way to high (approximately 3"), so I read similar posts here regarding leveling by removing leafs to drop the rear some. Now that I have (removed the two short leafs on the bottom..... I did this because most posts said that by...

Another “a truck pulls into a garage and stumbles out” issue

I know we are here to help old and new on CB.com, but I always seem to have the same question a hundred others before me had but mine is always somehow a different situation. Because I don’t always find the answers I need, bare with me once again. I have a new-to-me ‘77 that has developed a...

1966-1967 door latch clip/bushing installation photograph

I am trying to install a door latch rod and bushings but I am not familiar with the 1966-1967 door inner workings. No site shows the way the bushing/chip holds the rod in place. Can someone share a photo or video of the assembly? I really need the visual support!

    Gauges still not working

Hey guys, So, I’ve read previous threads till my eyes have almost bled and I’ve done what people have suggested with no success. My gas and temp gauges are dead. I’ve multimetered, tested the connections and just today chanced the IVR. Still flat on empty and cold. The good news is that my...

    Manifold identification/ carb gasket

The EGR plate is aluminum. I didn't look at the stamping on the EGR plate, but the manifold had a D70E on it.

    Manifold identification/ carb gasket

Ok, so now that I had some time on the internet, I found what I need (Fel Pro 60244)..... however, this mounting gasket is a lot thinner of a heat shield than the Few Pro 60716 broncos use. Very interesting and I would love to hear the reasoning and any special instructions one could share. :)

    Manifold identification/ carb gasket

So I finally had some time to mess with my ‘77 that I bought last year but have only been working on gas tank, suspension and brakes the past several months. I fired her up today to take a drive but found I had a slight vacuum leak at the base of the carb so I went and bought everything to...

    Project "Urban Outdoorsman"

Thanks guys....... The undercarriage is not just "wash off ready" as it has more than patina in my experience. I will be going through the whole suspension, tanks, shafts, etc. and just feel like some axle and tie rod blasting or at least POR15 would be a better look. Thoughts here after seeing...

    Project "Urban Outdoorsman"

Well, it is finally time to begin my Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter build (we all know how build timelines go), know for now as the "Urban Outdoorsman". I am starting with a 100% original 1973 base model with factory Wintergreen paint and mild (but legit patina and bruises). I found it in rural...
