    MO 1973 Unrestored Uncut

$7,100 Imperial Mo. Zip 63052 Near St Louis. '73, 104,000 miles. Was daily driver for the last year. Needs left rear brake cyclinder and rear driveshaft. Runs and is driveable but doesn't stop well with the bad brake cylinder. It has rust but nothing structural. Could use rockers and...

I need new tires for my '73 and have bad backspacing on my aftermarket wheels. Looking for a set of 4 factory wheels (I have the orig spare) shipped to 63052 or I'll pick up within reason.

    Keeping focus on restoration

Keep It Broke JC, Keep it broke. Then you will actually do the work, I got my 73 about 4 years ago, threw on an exhaust and hit the road. Problem now is I love driving it so much that I'm not willing to take it off the road for the tear down\restore I want to do.

    Thirsty 302

Not shure what I have. I have hard line from the pump up to something that looks like an oversize (black) tylenol capsulefrom that I have a hard line continuing to the carb and a little stub that appears to be crimped for restriction that 5/16ths to the return hose. No vac or other connections.

    Thirsty 302

First thing I tried. Funny I was just at JBG lusting after a couple big new tanks as a first step in a whole new system (without the return).

Club in ST Louis Mo area?

I've heard about an EB club in ST. Louis that meets "sometimes" at a south county Hooters and does the occasional trail ride. Can't find any other info anywhere. Looks like a good number of members in MO anybody know about the club.

    Thirsty 302

BAX, all old steel is in place I just added the extra filter\guage\regulator between hard line and carb for diagnostic. Is there some kind of valve in the bypass or is the crimp of the tube all that regulates how much fuel returns?

    Thirsty 302

What do I have to do to eliminate the return system? I was just going to clamp it off but was affraid to blow the lid off the carb or kill the mech pump.

    Survey..................How'd you get your EB?

Drinking Accident There I was... We were about a case of beer into various deep topics in my buddy's neighbor's driveway when someone needed to pee. The neighbor (now a friend) opened his garage and there it was, on blocks in all it's dusty beauty. A 73 with a marginal paint job (top too)...

    Thirsty 302

I'm going nuts here! My '73 2 barrel 302 usually runs fine but every now and then (now) it seems to stop pumping fuel to the carb. I put a clear filter before and after the pump and I see the one between the pump and the carb go dry. pressure drops from 5 down to 2-3 and pinching the return...
