Approximate value for bench seat core

Hey all... There's a "want ad" with a gentleman looking for a bench seat near me. I bought a '72 1/2 cab about 25 years ago that was a little too rusty for me. It had a bench seat that I removed and it's been sitting in the shop collecting dust. It's complete including the brackets... long on...

Fixing some small holes in a Fiberglass tub

Thanks guys, I will try that, just need to get to the city and buy some material. I threw in a few pics of the firewall. Once I get them patched I will have to drill them and get a grommet for the wires. Mark, you may regret the offer, the tub has some "issues" from the PO. ;) [/URL[/IMG]...

Fixing some small holes in a Fiberglass tub

Okay thanks, I was hoping the Gorilla glue epoxy would work just for the convenience of mixing small quantities one at a time. Next time I am in the city I will see if I can get a can of Evercoat. Thanks again

Fixing some small holes in a Fiberglass tub

Quick question for you fibreglass gurus out there... the fibreglass tub that I have has a few extra holes in the firewall and in the box from the PO. I would like to fill the holes and get the box looking a little better and the firewall less breezy. The holes in the bed are about 3/8” and the...

Slight problem with a NV3550 from the wrecking yard

Yeah, all liquids are drained... all the jacks are removed as well. I had to use a ratchet strap through the shifter hole in the floor, hooked on a pry bar.

Slight problem with a NV3550 from the wrecking yard

Yup, I can't understand it either. Punching the holes is pretty annoying... now I have to buy a new plug, looks like some kind of metric thread definitely not NPT.

Slight problem with a NV3550 from the wrecking yard

I guess in my mind I am picturing something like Javier Bardem used in the movie “No Country for Old Men” ;)

Slight problem with a NV3550 from the wrecking yard

Well the hole that's through the drain plug looks like it was some type of punch rather than drilled out. I guess it could be drilled. I did take the shifter off but I couldn't see any gears.

Slight problem with a NV3550 from the wrecking yard

Hey guys, Well after taking a few years off I am back working on the Bronco. I have a little dilemma with the 3550 I got from the "Pick n Pull" few weeks ago. When I found it at the yard I checked the shifting and everything seemed fine, and after I got it out of the Liberty I gave the input...

    Dash light removal?

Hey guys, how do you replace the lamps in the dash lights ... specifically the wiper/heater/etc? I reached in the back and I got the plug out but I stopped when it looked like I would break something. Thanks ... Darren

    9" Pumpkin Color

I painted mine with Glyptal. It's pretty tough, and I had a can (I am an electrician). For those that don't know, Glyptal is an electrical insulation and it is seen inside large electrical motors.

seats with a built in shoulder belt

So I just bought an all fiberglass ½ cab and I want to get some new seats. It came with the lap belts but I would feel more comfortable with the shoulder belts since I have a 7 year old daughter. With the fibreglass cab there is no place to put a shoulder belt, and I don’t want a roll bar in...
