Yeah, all liquids are drained... all the jacks are removed as well. I had to use a ratchet strap through the shifter hole in the floor, hooked on a pry bar.

Yup, I can't understand it either. Punching the holes is pretty annoying... now I have to buy a new plug, looks like some kind of metric thread definitely not NPT.

Well the hole that's through the drain plug looks like it was some type of punch rather than drilled out. I guess it could be drilled. I did take the shifter off but I couldn't see any gears.

Hey guys, how do you replace the lamps in the dash lights ... specifically the wiper/heater/etc? I reached in the back and I got the plug out but I stopped when it looked like I would break something. Thanks ... Darren

I painted mine with Glyptal. It's pretty tough, and I had a can (I am an electrician). For those that don't know, Glyptal is an electrical insulation and it is seen inside large electrical motors.

I like it, it's almost worth risking a divorce to fly in and drive it home! ;)
