    Gauge Suggestion/ Fuel Level Reading

I'm not sure, it came with the Bronco when I purchased it. Is there a way I can tell if it's the sender or the gauge?

    Gauge Suggestion/ Fuel Level Reading

I am considering getting a new gauge cluster. I am looking at the digital one on Tom's ($449). Anyone have any alternative suggestions? I want it to look sharp and I am open to changing the configuration. And as always cheaper wouldn't be a bad way to go. 2nd- I have a 23 gallon fuel tank on...

    Turn Signals

Everyone was so helpful with my overheating problem I thought I would try to use your knowledge again. My turn signals have stopped working. The wiring harness is a newer painless system. The fuse is fine and all brake/tail lights are still functioning. How do I switch out the turn signal...

Everyone was so helpful with my overheating problem I thought I would try to use your knowledge again. My turn signals have stopped working. The wiring harness is a newer Centech wiring system. Running Hot...

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!! As I was getting ready to burp the system my new balanced thermostat (180) arrived from Summit. I replaced the old one which was a 195 (thought it was 180) and burped the system after putting it in. I let it idle for a long time and never got above 180, when I drove around...

    Running Hot...

Thanks. I am pretty sure the gauges are correct. I have a T set up at the heater core w a 185 degree switch to turn on the electric fan and its pretty much is identical to my temp sending gauge (its at almost 190 when I hear the fan kick on). I will try burping the system now.

    Running Hot...

I have no A/C in my Bronco, as far as blowing out the radiator its brand new so I am not sure blowing them out would help (I was having the same temp problems w my old radiator). I did add something in the radiator called Wet, I assume its like prolong or slick 50, no help. Would there be a...

    Running Hot...

How accurate are those thermocaps (radiator caps)? I purchased one and noticed it said it was 140 while all my other gauges were reading 190. I now know that my gauge is pretty accurate after the flow testing (which was good) and a few other things I had done. My timing was way off and I was...

Thanks for the help. Will the flow test tell me what I want to know, at least narrow it down somewhat for me?

    Running Hot...

I appreciate all the advice. I am not sure if the engine has been over bored. I am going to have the engine flow tested this week to see if i can narrow down the problem. I am planning on putting in an aftermarket underdash heater/AC so should I just by pass the heater core, will that maybe...

    Running Hot...

It takes a bit of driving for it to stay hot, cools down a bit when I drive then pegs out at 220 or so when I am stopped/in idle. It was running hot before the radiator swap. Would taking out the thermostat be beneficial? Thanks for the help...

    Running Hot...

I posted this a few weeks back still looking to find the problem. I am not too mechanically inclined but here it goes...again. I have a 1968 Bronco with a 289. It always seems to run on the hot end (200-220 according to my gauge). ***I have replaced the radiator with a Griffin aluminum...
