I realize allot of folks have had great experiences with Ruff Stuff over the years, iI myself have bought thousands of dollars worth of parts, supplies and more from them. However, this recent order, its a small order, spring perches, set of weld on caliper brackets and a few threaded weld...

Wasn't able to swing NORRA this year due to work commitments - as Todd mentioned, I did get to race Boyds Bronco for a section on the first day - was fun! We did race a 160 mile race in Grand Junction Colorado in April put on by Bonneville off-road Racing Org - finished 3rd over all :) had a...

Solo motorsports makes a Sector Shaft Double-Shear Adapter - I use one on my 72 Bronco racer with a 4x4x2 box. Stabilizes the lateral movement of the box, but it probably just moves the shock to the gears/top of the box...

Thats great to hear. More off the shelf parts the better. I did have an extra o2 sensor and wideband controller and that along with 3 hours of computer time I got the 69 running well enough for now and hopefully I can enjoy the bronco for a few months before i tear it apart for god knows how...

I am currently running a Mallory distributor with a ford TFI module, Mallory Coil and HyFire 6a ignition box on the Ford 400 engine with the Commander 950. I somehow recovered the laptop yesterday and got connected to the 950 computer, looks like the o2 sensor went bad - again. $300 from Holley...

Howdy - so my Commander 950 has finally reached end of life, after a bazillion hours of tuning and granted a bunch of trouble free years I lost not only the laptop to run the Holley software a few days ago, but my patience as well. The 69 is having issues related to either the current tune or a...

In addition i would think those boots would trap silt and dust as I guarantee they wouldn't keep everything out and some would probably tear/crack relatively quickly during a race. You would be surprised how much stuff gets hit, run over or drove through lol.

Don't remember exactly where i bought it from but there are bunch of places online you can find them. I am running a custom track bar made out of 1.5" DOM

thats interesting :)

Hey there, so realized I never posted anything up about our race - thanks for doing that Todd! It was ambitious to attempt take on the Legandary Baja 1000 in a vintage Bronco but we always thought if we were going to, it would have to be a peninsula run. An idea hatched appropriately over...

are you able to use one of the ruff stuff caliper brackets for that 60? https://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/BoltOn.html?Category_Code=BoltOn&Per_Page=20&Screen=CTGY&Sort_By=disp_order&axle=Dana%2060 If i was closer I would definitely be helping ya...

We pulled the steering box apart to make sure the sector shaft wasn’t fractured and were pleasantly surprised to see it wasn’t. It would seem you only need two teeth to have steering, we raced one more day (200+ miles) on this box before swapping on the last day

Here’s ours

I can confirm it was almost 100% stock. The things that were not stock were added as safety requirements for the race, communication and navigation. Nothing was customized on the bronco as far as drivetrain, suspension or even the interior besides the cage and race seats. I was told by...

I think i exceeded the heim joint angle when the tires stuffed, well it's obvious I did. The bolt was an f9 bolt and broke and didn't bend. Not sure a bend would have been any better as it was a clean break and after a cutting torch and some clean up it was a straight forward fix. I happened to...

The big oly helmet would be very cool to have. Too bad it will go for as much as it costs to race in Mexico

I had the same cancer in the rockers (along with 50lbs of body filler) and someone local had these: https://dufftuff.com/product/1-4-rocker-guards-1966-77-bronco/ so i went that way... i kept having to tell myself this isn't a restore and it will get messed up so made it easy on myself... I...

Here’s the video of the announcement from the Mecum Phoenix auction https://youtu.be/EHawEAb6aqs

Looks great! 1/8” off is great, it’s sometimes tough to get the arms that close.
