    72 Explorer Sport: Restore/install trim or no? Opinion poll.

    I cut my trim to make more of a "spear" and removed the tailgate trim. My step-dad who built a lot of hot rods suggested black pinstripe tape for the middle of the trim (haven't done it yet). I like the trim.

    I used this company. They send a piece of thick plastic and I marked the inside of the cage and areas I wanted holes for bungee cords. It was custom made to my top and turned out very well. It wasn't the cheapest option, but it doesn't flap in the wind either and keeps you cool inside...

    I have a 76 and debating between 1.5" and 2.5" SL. If I go with the 1.5" SL, will I be able to run my factory sway bar? I would assume it would not work with the 2.5" SL. Thanks
