I used 0000 steel wool on entire body. It removes surface rust, road grim , and oxidation. Then used a rubbing compound followed with polishing compoun then finished with wax. Amazing results can see your reflection and beads water.

Monstaliner interior floor, rear panels, inside tailgate. That stuff is awesome easy to use and looks great. Installed new firewall pad and seals. Painted heater box and driver vent box. Removed and painted dash waiting for new dash nobs to show up. Never ending fun.

There is a pretty good thread titled. 2nd try rear main seal. It was a big help when I did mine I also added my detailed procedure I used. It certainly can be done in car it is not a lot of fun good luck.

Change out timing chain and gear set. Also dropped oil pan. Repaint as much as possible from block to radiator

I swapped my 2100 for a 4100 about 6 months ago still have carb was running fine I'm sure it would be fine for rebuild. Haven't priced them I'm guessing if you want it $50 plus shipping
