    Ford sues Vintage Bronco

    Yeah I find these to be super ugly. Cool concept though, and the fit and finish looks super good, they just don’t look right to me

    I don’t think I’d would even drive my bronco without the roll cage in it, definitely a must for these vehicles

    Locking hood pins on stack hood?

    I used small Keyed locks on my hood pins for a while. I did worry about ease of access in case of an underhood fire. They also don’t last long from the constant vibe. After a long trip I’d find one of them just unlocked itself a few times, which is kind of scary. Went back to the normal pins...

    1970 Bronco BMW Diesel Swap

    Made the fuel pump mount and am now running the fuel lines. Super stoked on how they’re coming out. Doing all stainless hard lines as I haven’t had the best of luck with rubber fuel lines in the past.

    Steel-It Application / Review Q's

    Used it in on my roll cage 3-4 year ago and still looks great. I’m about a mile from the beach and it’s the only spray can paint I’ve used that doesn’t start peeling/pitting/rusting within a year. Use it for all most my stuff now. Seems to hold up to heat pretty good as well, made a turbo...

    Outside mirrors and door handles;

    Where can you get good chrome done these days? South of the border maybe? Mirrors I got started pitting within a couple months, my handles are original and the chrome from back then seems to hold up much better. Bronco sits outside 100% of the time about a mile from the beach. If there’s demand...

    Been a while since I’ve made any progress but got the fuel tank back in over the weekend and made the fuel filter mounting bracket and got it installed. Next step will be running fuel lines.

    Carbon fiber body panels for a ‘72

    Sorry for the hiatus, work/life got crazy but things are mellowing out. I’ve made progress on the oven design and build as well as body working the steel hood (even new it has some flaws) and will start chipping away at this again.

    1970 Bronco BMW Diesel Swap

    Carbon fiber body panels for a ‘72

    I’m aiming to make them use stock hardware so you don’t need hood pins. You can always pop holes in them if you do want hood pins. Also been thinking about adding hard points for hood shocks. I’ll definitely need to get lighter gas springs than what the steel hoods use though. Same goes with the...

    Carbon fiber body panels for a ‘72

    Quick update here on timeline, been getting slammed at work as we close in on finishing a project. It will probably be like this for the next three weeks. It will likely be 2-3 months to have complete hoods. I was a bit optimistic with my first timeline. Still making progress though!
