Today I sold my torn down Bronco and TONS of parts. It's going to a great home. Having it for 12 years has kept me sane at times and driven me mad at others. Possibility of buying another in the next few years? 80%

Another page in your history turned Jim. I know you went through a lot with that one. Hopefully it is close by that you can track the progress with the new owner.

Sad that you had to let it go. Honestly, if I had to do it over, I would have bought one that was in good working order and just enjoyed driving it. Think about it when you start looking for another one.

These are "just things", not life support. Ford made over 200,000 things
(box top Broncos) so they aren't rare. You'll get another when the time is right

Hi Jim,
Sorry to hear you had to let it go, especially after moving. That's gotta be tough. Hang in there, and I'd suggest you're right in getting a new one. Best of luck to you, I will miss your advice. Forrest

sorry to see out of the Bronco scene but I know it caused you a lot of grief at times. Check in with us from time to time.

Hey Jim I know it couldn't have been easy, but I'll bet now that it's done you're already feeling better. Cheers to you.

It's tough.
A typical restore/resto costs around 35K. That's doing it yourself and owning the project car already.
we get sidetracked with chassis and drivetrain stuff, but body and paint is the most expensive.

I'm thinking about hanging onto the money and buying a new Bronco after they've been out 2 years or so. IF they don't suck!

I like the attitude and, well, a good idea! The new ones look nice and a whole new world/future for Bronco enthusiasts. It's (in the mind of one "classic" owner) a legitimate path forward and a real Bronco. These new ones are so close to the original, but updated in a good way.
