1 Bbl adapter

I'm wondering if anyone has an adapter to mount a Carter YF to a small log intake? I'm currently running a 170 with a small log & an 1101 that runs great but I am building a 250 that will need a larger carb. I got a Carter YF that looks to be rebuilt & I'm hoping to dial it in on the 170 so when I fire the 250 I know the carb is a good runner. I did see an adapter somewhere that was $75 & I'd like to get by cheaper as this will be temporary. Also does anyone run a YF on a 170 with success? to much for the small log?
