Thats probably about 70% of the Broncos that I have seen. That is what I had on my 67, these are all the pics I have left of it.

I"ve ran the 33's on 8 and 10" rims. They give a little better road feel on the 10" rims but will hold the bead better on 8's when out playing or aired down.

Works good? Don't ever wish you'd done 10's? It for a street rig so I'm not worried about popping a bead.

Jerry, if you look in my gallery all the pics other than the one facing left with the windows zipped out are 33 12.50 on 15X10, not what you asked for but gives you a comparison. The pic facing left is 35's.

Yeah they work great on the street and off. I'll hardly even consider 10s. It's just what I prefer. Plus I don't like the tires sticking outside the flares too much.

I don't understand, 12.5 tires have a 12.5" wide tread don't they?
On an 8" rim does the tread "Round out?"

It works as a cheap man's bead lock that way. I usually air down to like 3 p.s.i. and have never popped a bead

I've got a set of Goodyear 37-12.50R-16.5 military OZ's (H1 tires) that should be mounted on 8.25" rims. I tried many places to mount them on my Aluminum 16.5 x 9.75 rims with no luck, had to go to tubes.

I have run both 10" rims and 8" rims, I prefer the 8" rims even with my 35's. Wear has always been good.

Check my gallery, 33x12.50s on 15x8s. I'm pretty sure the thread width is not the widest part of a tire, so the thread width would be less than 12.50".

tread width on a 12.50 is generally about 10" wide. i've always run 10" rims with 12.50 tires and been real happy with it. gives it a nice stance, and feels real stable on the road.

running hankooks here 33x12.5x15 running 15x10 rim.. tried to run it on a 8inch rim but discount tire and desert rat said they will not mount it!.. they explained that to be safe you need at least a 8.5 rim to meet there specs. IN the long run I am very happy with my set up
