When you put it in reverse it should turn the lights on. When the lights should turn on is when the short is blowing the fuse. So that shows that all is good up to the reverse light switch. After that something is bad.
Thanks Bowsher, it's strange, only started happening yesterday after I got my hitch mounted and is also intermittent, doesn't blow the fuse every time.
