:p I found a cheap (almost new) set of Goodyears Wrangler tires for sale. Does anyone make a 17" steel wheel with the 5 x 5/5" bolt pattern? Would they fit alright under a stock uncut Bronco? I would appreciate any thoughts or info. Thanks!

lots of people sell them, most are made by allied. Your problem is going to be backspacing. They might make em now that fit, but most 17 rims are 4.5 to 5.5 bs. Which may or may not work, they may kill you turning radius.

I could order them from Stockton Wheel. What backspacing would you suggest for a stock uncut application with a 17 x 9 wheel?

4.5 or 5" might be best. I'd try and go by a friendly shop and see if they have any takeoffs that you could try on. Dodge was 5 on 5.5 for years so that may be a good source if you need cheaper.
Stockton Wheel does great work.

So what backspacing would I need? What does that come out to be in millimeters?

Here is one Dodge wheel, but the offset is 25. Not going to work is it?

Offset mean how far off of centerline. So if it was an 8" wheel I believe a -25 mm ~ 1" offset would make it 4+1= 5" BS. Most modern wheels are more like cars and are outward of center as opposed to what trucks used to run with deep dish centers. If is is a 7" rim -25 should be 3.5+1= 4.5" BS I believe. A 9" with -25 offset would be 4.5 + 1 = 5.5" BS

I dont think the lift is necessary for the 17's you just have to be sure it tucks and is < 31" I believe.
I think a 17x7 would work the best to keep it off the inner and outer fenders.

Hers a Durango 17x7 inch. I am not sure yet what the backspacing would be. What would it have to be for a 17x8 to fit?

Its not the right bolt pattern though. Only the Ram 1500's and the RamVan's I think had the 5 on 5.5 pattern.
