1967 U15 Bronco Restoration

Been awhile since I have give a update. Been trying to get as much done when work allowed. But is is 98.7% done. Only had one problem after installing the Painless kit (horn will not stop) so drove to my mechanics to double check everything and make sure it is ready for the government inspection to get it's license plate & registration here in Netherlands (21 June). Thanks to everyone on the forum for answering my question or having asked the question I had already.

did you install the tank yet? any issues?

Was the mechanic able to get the horn working correctly?
I forget if Painless allows you to connect the horn both ways (early and late) or if they only use a relay, but either way using the relay in their kit would be the way to go.

Hope it's all sorted and you get a clean score from the inspector!

Horn issue solved, turned out when the horn cap and steering wheel were tightened the bit of extra wire pushed the horn clip flat and it grounded its self. Shortened wire and put shrink tube right to the bottom of clone toon. Works good now.
And to think I was going to tear into the harness
.

Excellent thread to read and what a beautiful rig and resto job you've done here! That color is so cool and vintage! I did read your Marti report to see that it is a true 1967 U15. In seeing the pictures, I noticed several things (hope I did not miss the details in reading).

Looks like the bronco has more '66 bronco goodies on it than usual for a '67. All the dash knobs are '66. Did it come that way? The hardtop as mentioned by Nick has the lift gate of a '66. Never saw one on a '67, even if it was an early '67. And did you change the tailgate out? Pictures look like a later gate. Did notice you have the '66 rear bumper too.

Eaglenest66. Thanks for the comments. I did replace the tailgate but kept the original Ome and plan to try to fix it (extremely rust used on bottom) and put it back in. Yes those were the knobs but as they were really beat up I was able to track down some NOS correct ones.
Everything is how I bought it. I had to change the hard top as the original was "McGyver'd in an I fixable bad way. I did keep the tailgate though.

I am extremely pleased how it came together and the look. Tried to stay as close to the build sheet with the exception of the front disc brakes and booster (safety first)

Fantastic! Really dig how you kept things clean and simple. Do you have a close up of your coolant overflow location? I see the tube coming off the radiator cap. Really like the fenders inside the engine compartment clean and bare.
