Wow is all I can say. I had to forward this to my husband, as he's definitely gonna like this thread too. Love the both rigs, the photography, the skills. LOVE IT.

Cage looks beefy! Any frame tie-ins?

Thanks! I love how beefy the design looks. I am having him tie it into the frame at all 6-points...he should be wrapping it up today :)

Nice build! I want that tow rig!!!!!

Thanks! Can't wait to tow my EB around with it to some of the events here in SoCal once I'm all done.

any specific color for the cage picked out yet? :)

I'm thinking about a silver to match the front bumper. The only thing I'm not sure about is if I should rattle can it, making it easy to touch up in case I ever want to add on to the cage, or if I should have it powder coated for the durability/scratching ?:?

THANKS!!! I think I sometimes get carried away with pictures, but I love to capture the different steps along the way to look back once I'm all done :)

Wow, that is looking great. Love the tow rig too. You bought that for $2000, didnt look like it had a lot of rust on it. Also, how about details on the Camaro and the other car in the garage? Also, what the heck do you do, that you can afford all those toys? LOL

It was a very solid starting point and felt like a steal when compared to the other Broncos I had looked at ;D

The Camaro is a 1967 RS/SS, Small block, 4-speed N21, 12-blot rear end...I picked it up for $3,500 with when I was in college...at that time whatever money didn't go to school tuition/books went into restoring it. The other car in the garage is a 1967 Chevy Nova, bought this one about 6-months from getting the Camaro. I haven't made the time to work on the Nova yet I unfortunately %)

Don't let my wife see this, she's already telling me that I have too many toys and the Bronco better be my last project for a while..I'm a Sr Project Engineer for a general contractor managing construction work.

Every time I see that thing its on a trailer!! Trailer Queen?

It's been quite the trailer queen lately %) , but it will hopefully see its fair share of road time once I get some of the near future upgrades that I want to do to it before I'll start driving it. I currently have the Bronco on the fixed $10 DMV planned non-operational registration until I'm ready to start driving it. Due to the Non-Op registration, the wheels can't touch public roads at this time and has to be towed everywhere. Hopefully I'll start making time here shortly to put all the parts I've acquired and have sitting in the garage needed to start driving it (hydroboost, 4x4x2 steering upgrade, steering column upgrade, explorer 9" disc conversion)

Good looking bumper. What did they charge to plate that big of a piece.

Thanks! Gosh I can't remember exactly, but it was very pricy based on the handling size/weight for all the buffing steps...I think it was somewhere in the $300-$400 range

Are the bumpers Hansen Front and Protofab rear?

The front bumper is a Hanson bumper, the back tire carrier is a Protofab, and the rear bumper is from Tom's Broncos (very similar if not almost identical to Protofab from what I could tell)
