I am asking 3500, but I would take 3000. Thanks
So I just bought a bronco... Its in great shape for the price, but I think I may have gotten a bit over my head. I haven't decided yet, but I think I might sell it before I buy to much stuff for it
Should be putting my money in my jeep or other bills.
I think its definitely worth what I am asking (what I have in it). Where it stands is a decent reliable daily driver. I am asking what I bought it for and what I have in parts/labor. WOULD CONSIDER TRADE for a vehilce that is not a project and in good shape that I can use as a daily driver, open to just about anything that I won't feel the itch to buy to many parts for

Price is very negotiable
Good Notes
-only 2 other owners
- original 302 with a 3 speed manual
-very strong engine clutch and trans
-Rebuilt Engine with about 10K on it, with a new long block installed
-brakes work decent, but are manual and require a bit of pressure to really get them to work well
-From the outside, the bronco looks really good, rockers fenders quarter panels all look good.
-Runs shifts great! Very fun to drive, it has a 302 with a 3 speed on the tree.
-I just bought what it needs to pass inspection, new Headers, new wiper arms and blades and a new driverside mirror, should be good to go
-I drove it on the highway at 65, very smooth no deathwobble or anything.
-all gauges work except for the gas gauge
-Top is in great shape very little rust
-actually looks pretty good from the outside, most of the rust is in hidden places
-tailgate is in good shape as are the doors, rockers ect...
-working after market stereo
-other than stereo original interior.
-You can take the top off!!
-has a full roll cage, in great shape
-air horns! (very loud)
-truly drives as well as my 08 jeep on the highway at 60. you can drive with one hand on the wheel even on bad construction roads. Despite having very old springs/shocks and original bushings, it handles surprisingly well.
BAD Notes
Rust...in hidden places
-good news is that where the rust is, its mostly localized, not all over the place
-the worst area is the DS floor pan and the support underneith it... is rotted out pretty bad but is coverd by carpet, so you don't notice it at first
. a new pan really needs to be installed although I am driving it daily as is. I was planning on replacing the PS pan as well, but it is actually in pretty good shape, think that there was a leak on the DS or something so when it sat durring the winter all the water drained to this area.
-everything underneith the frame is original, suspension, bushings ect...not surprising, all bushings need to be replaced, they are very dry rotted. I would just replace the entire suspension with a complete lift because it has the original springs and are saggy, but the bronco dosen't drive bad due to this or anything other than beeing noisy.
- I was told it needed new front U Joints (they don't make any noises though)
-The frame axles and what appear to be the original shocks have a lot of surface rust, but are solid
-front inner fenders should probably be replaced, rusty on the underside (but not so much on the top)
-windshield frame has a good amount of rust should replace it to make it nice.
I am trying to point out everthing I know, I don't like surprises. I don't know. I have allways wanted one of these, the price was great. But it was kind of an impulse buy, don't really have the means to do the work my self as I am in an apartment. This is a project that you could drive as you work on it. Should pass saftey and emissions. Let me know if you are interested, make me an offer, but I might just decide to keep it. The pic is bad, but its all I have right now. I know you want to see pics of the bad areas, hope to be able to post lots of pics on Sun-Monday
