Will my 1974 302 bell housing fit a 1996 351 ? What about the fly wheel , or is there a balance difference ? The 302 is a 6 bolt pattern. I bought an advance adapters kit to install a NV 3550 onto my 302, but I am thinking of installing a 351 W. Thanks

They are both small blocks so yes same bell housing.

There is a balance difference between the 302 and the 302HOs / 351s but that difference is in the harmonic balancer 28oz vs 50oz... I'm not sure about the flywheel but I'm sure someone will chime in soon.

It will all work.

The only balance issue is if you did a '82 or newer 302/5.0
The old 302 and all 351 share the same balance.
Since you have a flywheel, bellhousing, starter that work together now, they will transfer onto the 351 just fine.
All small block fords have a 6-bolt pattern. It is Not a symetrical pattern, the bolts will only line up one way. If you can't get them all to go in, index to a different hole.
