1975 Ford Bonco Ranger To restore or leave as is???

Hello to all my fellow Bronco buddies! Ok so here is my question. In 2012 i bought a 1975 bronco in ford parrot. Orange with 38000 original miles. iT has there on the tree, all wheel drum brakes, powersteering. The bronco is in really good shape. Virtually. No rust. It ran great until I changed the oil and put in synthetic. I do not know if that hurt it but about two days after the oil change the motor bent eight push rods. I had to have it rebuilt. It now runs great.
My question is it has the ranger stripes and the paint is in real good shape for a 42 year old vehicle. Currently except for the motor rebuild & a 4 barrel carb it is still all original. The ranger stripes look good but have developed cracks in Them and the paint on the hood at the top of the grill is fading. My Brother in law tried his hand a buffing out the paint on the hood and went to far at one spot that left a small greenish spot but other than that it looks really good. I guess my question is should I restore it? I have been told by many to leave it as is. I have been tempted to add Ac, disk brakes, five speed floor shiftier and a roll bar so I can ride it to the parkway with my kids on the weekends. To do all I have thought about doing would probably go north of ten grand. So I still can't decide.I just wanted to bounce the question off of the experts. Thanks for letting me share. If I figure out how to post pictures I will.

Leave the body alone and enjoy the patina. You can upgrade brakes, steering, AC and rollbar without altering the body. Tackling them together can turn into many years of downtime

I don't think I would touch it. Kind of rare to have an unmodified Bronco in really nice shape... can you post up any pics?

Keep the paint/stripes as they are.
I get so many positive comments since mine has not been repainted.
It has been said - enjoy the patina. Lets others enjoy it as well.

IMHO, add disk brakes and maybe AC. Other than that leave it alone. Seems like you have something pretty cool. I have been looking for something exactly like you have and haven't found one yet. Those are hard to come by.

2 options to post pictures that I know of:

1. Pay $12.00 to become a contributor (worth it)
2. Put them on a third party site like google or photobucket and then post a link to it.

I'll go with the 12.00 dollar route. Do they accept PayPal?

Sounds like a nice survivor. Try to keep as original as possible IMO. Good luck!!!

I just paid the fee. Do you know how long it takes before it is active?

Thanks guys. Do you think the brake upgrade, roll cage and ac would hurt the value?
