Here is one that found me on Friday. Same elderly owner for last 20 years from Arkansas. Beauty is only skin deep, or it's what on the inside matters. Which ever cliche' you choose, if you're looking for a nice foundation for your next build, this could be it. She is a 1976 Indio Tan U15 with orignal paint. The rockers look like they were patched years ago. Call it surface rust, call it patina, whatever it is, she is solid!!!

I have her currently running from a gallon jug until I can investigate if there is anything bad in the tank. It doesn't smell stale, but I'm not taking any chances. She lot drives great, I've made several laps and I'm impressed. The 302 is quiet with no internal noise, no lifters, no smoke either and holds 60-70 psi oil pressure. It's all original under the hood. I have the original breather which is included. Starts on the first crank. The close ratio 4 turn power steering works perfect. The disc brakes work well. Also, the 3 speed shifts good and the clutch has no slippage or chatter. Yes the hi and low range 4WD works.

She has a very solid tub as you can see in the pictures. Rust... new front floors will be needed, and a couple of places in the rear bed. The bottom of the tailgate needs a patch panel. both outer rockers need to be patched or changed out. The inner rockers are good. The frame has no scale or holes.
The posts and strikers are rust free, the rear quarter seams are nice, the passenger kick is perfect, the driver kick has a few pin holes, but is solid.

Again, this is a great start for a restoration. And if you're reading this you know that there isn't much of anything under 10K anymore. BTW, the drivers door glass is included, but not installed...don't know why. Thanks

I don't know. If this was an Explorer I would say it's a variation of their '76 stripe. But this Bronco doesn't have a trim package. Maybe dealer added, maybe owner added. The stripes look original.
