I think I know the answer but wanted to validate it. I looked a 77 Bronco that has the tilt column in the Turn Signal lever. Was there a tilt from the factory or is this something put in from another?

I have a '78 Bronco column and it is different in many ways. The collar is a much larger diameter with a large diameter sleeve over the column. I don't have any use for tilt, but remember a separate lever to function the tilt. The early Mustang column and collar are closer to EB style.

If it had a separate lever for tilt you are remembering a Chevy...

78 Bronco's tilt was controlled by the turn signal lever.

Squeezer, you're correct. I remembered incorrectly. I do remember the tilt function was loose on the columns I saw.
