After much heartache we have decided to list our 1986 Bronco for sale. It has some issues currently that I will be slowly working to fix, as I do, the price will go up. Details of the build and most issues I ran into can be found here: On to the next one: Bronco build . But I will try to list a short list of what it is down below.
1986 Ford Bronco XLT
4.8L "LS"
4L80E
NP241 with JB conversions SYE
Autofab mounts/crossmember
Sidewinder shifter mounted to custom center console
2004 F-350 SRW axles
Dana 60/Sterling 10.5
3.73 Gears
Skyoffroad SAS kit
Excursion front spring
4.5" Skyoffroad shackle flip in rear
Redhead steering gear
40x13.50R17 Milestar Patagonia M/T
New chassis harness
Body is in great shape, only real rust of concern is on one of the rear quarters. Tailgate has typical rust in the bottom of it. Typical surface rust on hood.
Front fenders were trimmed to clear the 40s. Could be trimmed more but haven't flexed it all the way to check full clearance. Clears driving through the ditch by my house.
Frame was stripped down and rust treated with POR and painted. Fuel system, steering and brakes are 100% new. Truck drives, stops and turns beautifully other than issues listed below.
Has all interior trim pieces and back seat.
For the bad. Needs a front driveshaft. Missing passenger seat as I was planning to install Corbeaus. I can probably source one if needed.
I love this truck but other priorities pushed it to the back burner and I don't want it to rot away in my back yard when somebody else can enjoy it.
$10.5K Need to move this to free up some money for other stuff that's come up.
Truck is located in Ayden, NC, current registration. No NC inspection required.
