Will the tranny out of 2000 explorer 5.0 work with a dana 20? It's a 2wd explorer

After a rebuild and a Dana 20 adaptor kit is installed (new output shaft and tail housing)
The output shaft is installed from the front of the transmission, the first part installed when it is being put together.
Advance adaptors has a kit for doing just this.
