Anyone know the closest place for diesel from either rausch or the campground?

yes, the exxon right nearby sells diesel.
RACEWAY TRUCK STOP
10 MOLLEYSTOWN RD
PINE GROVE, PENNSYLVANIA 17963
UNITED STATES
(570) 345-2498

if they are out, there is a burger king next door, and if you buy enough onion rings and french fries you can probably convert to biodiesel!

Google shows a Pilot truck stop off the pine grove exit.

Thanks. I took a better look and realized the campground is the same exit with the MckyD's and Comfort Inn right there. Never ventured on the other side of 81 there, so good to know the pilot is right there.

In the 4 locations over the 16 years, this is the first time that hotels/food/fuel were not a half hour trip out to town which will be nice for a change! :)

Thanks Chris, I'll put your number in my phone and give you a shout when we get close. Honestly, since it's the first day of the trip I'd be real happy doing some blues.

I'm also more than happy to step it down and lead a group on some greens and real easy blues, basically giving my wife, kids and anyone else that wants to join a tour of the East, West and/or South area of the park if there's interest?

Thanks again. Bummed you will not be leading or running the trails with us in your red trail machine this year.

Jim, I'll be looking for greenntrais n easy blues this trip. I believe you did some guiding for us for the MEB run at RC in the fall.

Would really like to get out Thursday late afternoon for a little trailing after checking in at campground.

Not sure where Jim will be (he was a great guide!), but I may be doing some of the same NorthEast property green/blue as we did in the fall...first time to RC for my "better half" and she already said she wants some sorta mellow stuff. Not sure what day(s) she will be riding along, but ill PM you my number to check where the group is.

I think the hotels, campground and Rausch are all within ~15 minutes of one another, which is awesome!

Dlish & Muskrat - My wife and the kids are coming with me this trip, and it's their first trip to the park as well. Since it's also the first day of a 3 day trip, I plan to take it pretty easy Thursday afternoon too. I'd like to hit greens and blues on the main side of the park (West, East, South.)

That said, I'm going to call Chris when we get up there to see what is already planned, and who's already leading what runs on Thursday. I know a lot of guys have put a TON of time and effort into planning an awesome trip for us, so I certainly don't want to step on any toes.

If we can't catch up with the rides that are already out on the trails, or if there isn't an easy group Thursday afternoon, than I'm happy to help lead a group of us.

This is going to be an awesome time!

Reminder to take some really good photographs this weekend!

MEB Photo Contest:

MEB is in need of some really great quality photos of member’s Broncos and from any of MEB’s events to use on some high profile (and costly) upcoming club promotional items, so we’d really like to get the best possible images we can. We’ve had a hard time finding photos that meet the requirements in most of the photos we have on file from past events since most are “snapshots” and not quality photographs. By this we mean it needs to fit the following requirements (there might be occasional exceptions depending on the nature of the photo):

• In focus and well framed (we need the entire Bronco in frame for the main promo item we are currently working on)
• Good lighting with little glare or shadows on the subject (in most cases)
• No clutter or people in the foreground and background, hoods and doors closed.
• High resolution (the bigger the better since some of these could be printed life size).

We are looking for a mix of stock, street modified and trail rigs. The trail rigs can show some trail scars, but we’d prefer to have them with most/all of their Bronco sheet metal / appearance intact. Please submit your photos resaved with a file name in the following format: “2014MEB_PhotoContest_YourFirstName_YourLastName_Photo1” in a maximum of 2048 x 1536 for manageable emailing for initial review to President@earlybroncos.com . Also include a note with what the original file size is for each photo you submit.
Submissions accepted throughout all of our 2014 event season and must be received no later than December 1st 2014.
Please plan to take some high quality photos at this year’s events! You can submit any photos you currently have that meet the requirements and can submit as many photos as you’d like. By submitting photos you agree to allow them to be used by MEB for current or future club promotions, website or other use.

Initial submissions will be reviewed for meeting the requirements for suitability for MEB’s anticipated projects, and those selections will be placed up for a vote of people’s choice either on the MEB website or ClassicBroncos.com.
1st Place: $100 MEB gift certificate*
2nd Place: $50 MEB gift certificate*
3rd Place: $25 MEB gift certificate*
*Gift certificate redeemable towards club merchandise, dues or Roundup registration

NEW INFO 6-25-14

Twin Grove Campground Info

Walk on’s at the campground and those that are staying at other locations:

There should be no charge for walk on's per Missy at Twin Grove. Please let me know if you have an issue.

Please park your rig at the parking lot in front of the registration building. Please go to the registration desk and let them know you are here for the “Early Bronco Group” they will direct you to the pavilion. There is very limited parking near the pavilions, so please leave your transportation in the parking lot. If you are unable to make the short uphill walk (handicapped, small children) we can provide some parking spots but please leave this option for those that truly need it.

Show and Shine Friday Night, Please report to the registration desk upon arrival at the campground and let them know you are here for this event. They will buzz you through the gate and you will see us on the left on the top of the hill. One of the MEB staff will direct you where to park.

All Roundup participants must sign the liability waiver and will be issued a wrist band to let us know you are part of the group and have signed the waiver.

Tech Inspection:

Bring your trail rig by during registration for Tech Inspection. Please park it on the exit road side of the field and let one of the MEB staff know you are there for inspection. After Tech inspection please return your rig to your campsite to leave room for other people.

If you are storing your rig off site we will do tech inspection at Rausch Creek in the morning. Please see a MEB Staff member to get this done. It is your responsibility to make sure this gets done. Please don't make us chase you down. All Trail rigs must get inspected.

Car Trailer Storage:

If you are checking into the Campground the Reception desk will guide you to where to store your trailer.
You can store your rig and trailer at Rausch creek if you want. Please leave it on the NE property side, go down the driveway across from the main entrance and go left at the end of the drive way. You can store trailers anywhere on the left side. DO NOT park them on the side with the two telephone poles.

I just made it to the RC parking lot. Where is everyone? :). (Wed at 11 pm).

Too late and wet to set up tent. Guess I'm sleeping in the truck tonight.

I think I just saw a ghost. A mirage. A bronco only before seen on the interwebs and never in real life!
