REMINDER....

Photo Contest:
MEB is in need of some really great quality photos of member’s Broncos and from any of MEB’s events to use on some high profile (and costly) upcoming club promotional items, so we’d really like to get the best possible images we can. We’ve had a hard time finding photos that meet the requirements in most of the photos we have on file from past events since most are “snapshots” and not quality photographs. By this we mean it needs to fit the following requirements (there might be occasional exceptions depending on the nature of the photo):
• In focus and well framed (we need the entire Bronco in frame for the main promo item we are currently working on)
• Good lighting with little glare or shadows on the subject (in most cases)
• No clutter or people in the foreground and background, hoods and doors closed.
• High resolution (the bigger the better since some of these could be printed life size).
We are looking for a mix of stock, street modified and trail rigs. The trail rigs can show some trail scars, but we’d prefer to have them with most/all of their Bronco sheet metal / appearance intact. Please submit your photos resaved with a file name in the following format: “2014MEB_PhotoContest_YourFirstName_YourLastName_Photo1” in a maximum of 2048 x 1536 for manageable emailing for initial review to President@earlybroncos.com . Also include a note with what the original file size is for each photo you submit.
Submissions accepted throughout all of our 2014 event season and must be received no later than December 1st 2014.
Please plan to take some high quality photos at this year’s events! You can submit any photos you currently have that meet the requirements and can submit as many photos as you’d like. By submitting photos you agree to allow them to be used by MEB for current or future club promotions, website or other use.

Initial submissions will be reviewed for meeting the requirements for suitability for MEB’s anticipated projects, and those selections will be placed up for a vote of people’s choice either on the MEB website or ClassicBroncos.com.
1st Place: $100 MEB gift certificate*
2nd Place: $50 MEB gift certificate*
3rd Place: $25 MEB gift certificate*
*Gift certificate redeemable towards club merchandise, dues or Roundup registration

If you have kids (or if you did one yourself as some adults did) who printed the shirts and then tie dyed them, post of pics of your finished results now that they are ready to take out of the bag and dry!

Here is the first I have seen of Sporto's kid's wearing the ones they made this weekend.

Thanks to Nhopman for the graphics and Ransil for getting the heat transfer press and ordering the transfers, and Broncolou for helping the kids do the transfers and his wife Becky for coming up with the idea to do the tie dye shirts and for heading up that part of the activity.

From the feedback I received, it was a big hit!

Also, if anyone has some pics of my dad and the kids making the metal Bronco cookie cutters during the tinsmithing craft or Chara and the kids doing the Bronco coloring contest, spin art or other crafts, please post those as well since I did not get a chance to take any.

Did anybody get video footage of John, the guy in the Bronco II running the rock crawling competition? He went first in the unlimited class.

Also, who won in the unlimited class?

Sorry for the fuzzy pics, my phone camera was acting up on the Blue Rocks trail cutting trip a couple months ago when I took these.

Massive carnage edition of the Round-Up for our group! 4 drive shafts, 2 PS boxes, 1 ORI, 1 Twisted rear axle, 1 Track bar ripped from the frame, 1 transfer case rear output shaft, 1 flat tire......thats I can think of...Ken?? I think the Mainers get the award for the most junk fixed during a Round-Up!!

We got into town late Mon and wheeled Tues-Sat. We got in off the trail late every day but Wed. It was a good week.

I am disappointed I didn't get to see more of my other friends at the event. With the campground being so large, I seemed to keep missing people I was looking for. But it was NICE to have good facilities and a welcoming staff!! that's different! ;)

Big thanks to all who worked on putting it together!!
