What's your definition of "nice" ?

Not a whole lot of options in the area. Here's a list from the RC site. I don't know any of these. There are a few more options in Lebanon. I think a newer Holiday Inn Express but don't quote me on that.

Hotels

Here are the nearby hotels. They are 5 miles from Twin Grove Campground, where we'll hold all the activities except the wheeling, and 9 miles from Rausch Creek Offroad Park. Check each one, and read the reviews. I stayed at the Hampton Inn but its been a few years ago. It was nice.

Hampton Inn - 481 Suedberg Rd - Pine Grove, PA (570) 345-4505
Comfort Inn - 433 Suedberg Rd - Pine Grove, PA (570) 345-8031
Econo Lodge - 419 Suedberg Rd - Pine Grove, PA (570) 345-4099

All 3 are at Exit 100 off I-81. Let me know if you have other questions.

I am fairly certain that the Hampton Inn will give a discounted rate if you tell them you are going to Rausch Creek. You might want to ask at the others as well.

We are in E 14 or thereabouts. The bronco is ready for the street cruise and show and shine. The Land Cruiser is ready to hit the trails, perhaps with the full-size guys.

Should be an awesome weekend, looking forward to it!

Tasker, is the rumor true that you will be on hand to sign autographs and do a photo session before dinner each night?!

It's not a rumor, it's how he gets his meals!

We're getting there Monday and spending the week if anyone wants to do some early trails!

You all have fun! This will be the first MEB RU I've missed since 2003!

It should be an awesome RU at the new venue - Rausch Creek is a great place to wheel and the area has some very interesting and scenic street cruise destinations as well. I know the RU Committee has been working hard to make sure this will be a great year! ;D

All booked up!

Anybody know if Twin Grove allows car-hauler trailer parking?

Yes there will be a place to park your trailer. Look for the signs like we had at Gore.

I just spoke with the campground and checked on how many sites we reserved for the event are still available.

We had a bunch of spaces reserved, and only 1 RV site and 5 tent sites are left.

All cabins and cottages are booked.

If you plan to attend and need one, call soon!

http://www.twingrove.com/

Be sure to tell them you are with the East Coast Bronco Roundup since the sites are reserved under that name and you will also get a discount.

There's also the three major hotels just off the highway and on the same road, only 5 miles from the campground in case you waited too long to make a reservaton.

Can't wait for end of June. Been a motivator to get more done on the Bronco. Obviously it will not be at a point I want, but are they ever? First time attending and will be arriving Thursday. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I only know what I have read online.

Thank
Jay

Are you trail riding or just street cruise / show n Shine?

For those with trail rigs:

The campground is about 12 miles from Rausch Creek, so you will need to trailer or chance it if you are not street legal (like we did for years when were held the event in Tellico and Paragon).

You will need to get your rig Tech Inspected when you check in at the campground to get your meal and raffle tickets and goodie bag. Tech inspection will determine the highest level of trail your rig is equiped for. You can go lower, but not above what you are tech'd for.

We will soon post the itinerary which will have the days and hours for check in and tech and all the other activities.

If not trail riding, just show up and plan to go on the Saturday street cruise (usually 50-100 miles) if your rig is ready. If you can post up and find someone with an empty seat(s) to ride with on the trails for Friday, you might want to check into that.

We will have more details coming out soon.
